These are the types of players that should be punished. It's really all that simple.įinally, it is obvious that people will join RP servers just to kill a bunch of people to aggravate and strip them from their fun. Players can be police officers and arrest the murderer or other players can have weapons for self defense. So, What can the players of the server do to prevent shootings or murders from our ‘terrorist’ or ‘psychopath’ role? Well there's many ways, and that's not calling an admin. However, again, if it's something that fits that job role or description, it's fine if you take into account the rules. Now, if a citizen started to just mass RDM, then there would be a problem. Personally, I would take into account the jobs and who people actually are. And when it comes to only killing one other player, they have to wait 5-10 minutes before killing another. If they die however, they have to wait another 10-20 minutes before doing it again. But how do we solve mass RDM? Well, what I would do is make a job for a terrorist or a psychopath, and once every 10-20 minutes can they perform a mass shootout. However, going back to my previous point, the player could be roleplaying as some sort of homicidal maniac. Now like I said, there are some aspects that should be taken to account. It's not that the victim's care about server rules, it’s that they’re mad because they died. Players need to stop moaning all the time to an admin because they died without reason. The assailant of RDM might be roleplaying as a killer or a psychopath. Personally, if a player kills another without reason, it really doesn’t matter. So what should you do about it? Well, there's only certain aspects of RDM you should take into account. There is no doubt that RDM can earn you a kick or a dreadful rooftop session. RDM means Random Deathmatch, and if a player kills another player for no reason, it can be classed as RDM. However, the way I see it, the way to run a fun server is not to have these rules.
